The Front End Manufacturing Engineer / Planner is responsible for planning and releasing manufacturing instructions, ensuring accuracy in job specifications, and implementing engineering changes.

Responsibilities

Quickly and accurately releases manufacturing instructions to CAM, Artwork, Drill, and Electrical Test Departments for tooling generation when required

Read, understand, and interpret purchase orders, travelers, prints, and drawings to verify that instructions generated and travelers created are accurate for each individual job

Verify that travelers released are accurate representations of current manufacturing process steps and sequences and that board and panel quantities are accurate

Understand and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECN) by making required updates and changes to shop travelers and create instructions for CAM and other departments to implement ECNs

Perform other department or company-related tasks at the direction of the department supervisor

Qualification

PCB Planning experienceMicrosoft Office SoftwareBasic mathematical abilityConcentration skillsEnglish fluency

Required

Basic knowledge of planning procedures

Microsoft Office Software proficiency

Understanding of customer requirements/specifications

Knowledge of industry standards

Good oral and written communication skills

Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English

Basic mathematical and reasoning ability

Ability to work at a desktop environment for the majority of the shift

Ability to lift 30lbs

Very good concentration and ability to remain focused with minor interruptions

High School Diploma or GED desired; or at least 5 years work experience in lieu of educational requirement

PCB Planning experience required
