Responsibilities

Work with Engineers and Scientists: Provide Bruker Solutions to complex industry/research problems
Build Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with scientists, engineers, and decision-makers in key sectors like semiconductors, microelectronics, and biotech
Strategize & Execute: Develop and implement tactical sales plans to meet and exceed quarterly targets
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (Applications, Marketing, Customer Service, Manufacturing) to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Stay Ahead: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and identify new opportunities
Represent Bruker: Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer events to showcase our technology and expand your network
Own the Territory: Drive sales growth by managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—in academic, industrial, and government research environments

Required

Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline with 2 years sales/applications experience or advanced degree in the same fields with no experience

Preferred

Experience selling into academic, industrial, and semiconductor markets is a plus
Familiarity with multi-level sales channels and strategic selling methodologies (Miller-Heiman preferred)
Success in capital equipment sales, ideally within scientific or technical markets is a plus
Strong understanding of optical microscopy, tribology, or related technologies highly desired
